At the beginning of the Pandemic, brides and grooms had to change their plans due to the unknown of the COVID virus, along with strict social distancing guidelines. Now, 6 months in, it looks like precautions around COVID might be here longer than we thought, and what we may have originally envisioned as our 2021 wedding, may end up looking a bit different.

While some canceled or postponed their 2020 wedding until a later date, many new brides have decided to go along with a smaller and more intimate wedding in 2021. We understand, that after having a year-long engagement, dreams of the perfect wedding venue, and a guest list of almost 300 people, that it must be hard to realize and make the big decision that a wedding of this type, just isn’t happening…

Like many couples who have gone through this process, it has been really clear, that couples still want to get married somehow, someway. This is why many couples have moved forward instead of postponing. They are planning smaller and more intimate outdoor weddings. Guest lists are going from 300 to 25-30 people, and outdoor, backyard type weddings have become more, and more popular in the last few months. It won’t be that huge wedding you originally expected, but downsizing with the core people who are closest to you, might just be the ticket in keeping yourself healthy, happy, and with a sense of normality.

We have the expertise to not only make your wedding planning as stress-free as possible, but we are here to discuss your unique needs, and to come up with a plan of how to make your newly visioned wedding possible! Many couples are feeling more secure in proceeding with their wedding plans because of outdoor wedding options. Here at County Line Event Center, we have a gorgeous outdoor ceremony pavilion that can be used as your ceremony location. We can also discuss, how we may be able to use this same location for your outdoor wedding reception. Logistics would be different, and pricing may change due to specific rentals, but we are open to having the discussion on how our beautiful outdoor space can be transformed into a safe outdoor wedding environment.
