How to Calculate & Save Money to Pay for your Houston Wedding
Paying for your own Wedding
Some people, ever since they were born, have been blessed with a family inheritance, and/or family who have been ready & able to pay for their child’s wedding, while others have to pay for their wedding on there own. If you are someone who either has to pay for the entire, or even half of the wedding costs, developing a monthly financial plan on how to save, could be your saving grace. No one wants to start their marriage off in high debt, that is why we created the County Line Event Center, offering affordable all-inclusive wedding and party packages. Going into marriage with debt for a one-day party is a huge mistake.
When deciding on your wedding venue, the bottom line could be a real decision maker. That is why we have put together a simple math equation that you can use, when calculating the amount you and/or your fiancé may have to save monthly, when booking a County Line Event Center wedding.
Use this simple math equation.
Take your total wedding budget, and divide it into smaller chunks that are easier to digest. For example, if you have 12 months to save, take the sum of your desired budget (Exp: $10,000) and divide it by 12. If that amount seems like too much per month, add more time or try cutting back on a few of your big-ticket monthly expenses to help you save.
Here at County Line Event Center, our packages start out at three different price points, and then they go up within each category from there, depending upon your head count:
Micro-Weddings - $3,942 all-inclusive venue / 12 months of savings = $330 a month / 2 people = $165 a month per person to SAVE
Because I Love You - $6,950 all-inclusive venue / 12 months of savings = $580 a month / 2 people = $290 a month per person to SAVE
The Grand Affair - $8,750 all-inclusive venue / 12 months of savings = $730 a month / 2 people = $365 a month per person to SAVE
*When working with your total wedding budget, booking an all-inclusive wedding here at County Line Event Center, could really help make life easier, as almost everything is included. The numbers above, do not include beer & liquor. Beer & liquor are not included in our wedding packages.
Cut back on monthly expenses.
Anything that debits you on a monthly basis, the time has come to really consider if these are must-haves you truly need, or if you can sacrifice them for a bit in favor of paying down your wedding budget. Even $20 off a monthly bill can save you $240 over the course of a year. Do you belong to a gym, club or subscription service that takes a monthly sum out of your account? Cutting back on these types of expenses can have some of the quickest effects on your account balance. Turning off your cable could save you $100 a month, and ending a gym membership could put an extra $75 in your account each month.
